Frosted lawn

Published by blogsmith under Musings Edit This

I went out for a little walk today and was amazed once again by the things this different seasons bring about. Today I saw dead leaves on the ground covered with frost and they look stunning for a first timer to the UK. Although frost can be a little bit slippery and dangerous when you step on a crystal and slide on your butt. But on the other hand, there is joy and beauty that they also bring about. Frost-covered leaves and grass are a beauty to behold. Perhaps I just love nature too much that I find everything interesting and appreciate even the slightest thing about them.

Here are the two photos I took. I especially like the frost outlining the veins and midrib of the leaves. They are just a stunning work of art painted by nature.

Perhaps for those who have been here all their lives these things are but a normal thing. Perhaps a few years from now these things I consider as novelties will also become stale. But right now I want to perpertuate these memories through writing.
