Annoying Virus Scan Alert
Have you seen this Virus Scan alert lately allegedly from Antivirus 2009? Almost everytime I open my friendster account this alert comes up with a grave warning if I don’t allow the scan and either way it will perform the scan anyway closing Friendster on me. At first I thought it was from Windows because it copies the interface of MS. But when I did a search I found out it’s comes from a webhost and not only friendster is affected.
It’s really annoying because it could contain a potential threat to the computer system. Luckily as I found out in the forums it was not a threat but still I hate it when it performs an unpermitted scan. Gladly, my antivirus shuts it before continuing its operation. If you get the same warning every now and then, don’t panic. Just close the window when the scan begins.
