just thinking out loud

For a couple of weeks of now I have been enjoying treading on dry leaves. I just love the sound of dry leaves under my feet. It’s my first autumn and although it’s not my first time to see leaves fall off from the tree but I get a new feeling. For countries with four seasons the falling of leaves is a signal of a new season. Although I love the color of trees changing colors but now as I see the trees getting bare my smile turns into a frown. I was picking up leaves today as I walk past them. I will keep them as a memento of my first autumn. Also I am getting used to the cold weather.
